Simple method for joining fireline beading thread. With this technique, you don’t need to stitch in old ends, or start new ones. You are literally joining your next piece of thread onto your last. So, the technique is to tie a Square Knot with your two ends of thread. Then, use a lighter to melt the ends of thread, creating a little ‘blob’.
Beading video put together right before supper time. :) Need to make another video to show the edging technique for adding beads along the edge of loom work.
Begin by cutting the paper into small triangles, perhaps an inch to an inch and a half across the long side. Brush glue onto the backside of the paper and then roll the paper onto the straw. Cut off the section that is now covered in the paper to form the bead. 3. String the bracelet.

Peyote-stitched strips worked with nylon thread tend to be flexible and more difficult to hold. Wax your thread to keep the beads from sliding around. String an even or odd number of beads, alternating colors if desired to help better see the pattern emerge. Pull the beads to about 4 to 6 feet from the end of the thread.
Take your piece of wire and put it on the thread. Thread a bead onto the wire and pull the wire through, leaving a substantial loop. Put your hook through the loop, and pull the loop tight. Draw a loop through the next sc, and then pull it through the two loops on your hook. Refer to the pictures for more clarity.
