My understanding of it has been, that 1821 is really the end of the time period where EU4 mechanics make sense. As in, the world is about to make such a great shift toward industrialism that the way nations interact/change in EU4 is so outdated as to be irrelevant in 1821+. It's a good bit after the big fireworks of Europe, the Napoleonic wars.
For example a country will say that another diplomat cannot be sent until 1770, and setting the date back to 1700 will mean that I may not send another diplomat until 70 years in the future. I am specifically asking if there is a better console command or a sort of 'reset' command that I may have missed besides 'fast_diplo'. This new patch adds a "continue" button once you get to the End Game screen that allows you to keep playing for as long as you want. Such a feature makes this mod somewhat unneeded so I am considering adding to this mod to add a little more detail to the 1820 - 1836 future; such as some extra tech levels and maybe some more relevant events for
